Samuel Evans Adunyah
Dr. Samuel Evans Adunyah received a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana, in 1978, followed by postgraduate research training at ETH-Zurich, Switzerland. He has a Master's in Biochemistry from Oklahoma State University and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Louisville, Kentucky, USA. He is a Tenured Professor of Biochemistry and Cancer Biology and Distinguished Chair of Biochemistry, Cancer Biology, Neuroscience, and Pharmacology at Meharry Medical College, USA. His research focuses on how cytokines regulate cancer growth. He is the PI/PD of an NCI U54 grant to study Cancer Health Disparities and of an American Cancer Society grant to train more minorities in cancer research. He has co-authored several book chapters on cytokines and edited a book on the tumor microenvironment.
